Which network to send on
Use the network the LiquidCash app names beside your deposit address, every single time. Here is why that matters more than anything else you check.
The app is still in testing
LiquidCash is being tested on Android and is not open to the public. This guide describes how the app handles networks, so you know what to look for.
Ask for accessOne coin, several networks
A stablecoin such as USDT is issued on more than one blockchain, and each of those is a separate ledger. A token on one of them cannot be seen on another, even though the name and symbol match, and even though some addresses look alike from one chain to the next.
Why the wrong network loses money
The network you pick in your wallet or exchange decides which ledger the coins land on. If it is not the network your LiquidCash address was issued for, the deposit arrives somewhere we are not watching for it. Blockchain transfers cannot be recalled, so neither we nor the sender can pull it back.
The app puts this beside every address in so many words: anything sent on a different network, or a different coin, is permanently lost.
How the app keeps the network in front of you
- ✓Network before address. It is named in bold beside your address and repeated in a warning above it, before there is anything to copy.
- ✓A live list. Which networks are open for deposits is asked of the provider that issues the addresses when you open the screen. If that cannot be confirmed, the app tells you it is showing its last known networks.
- ✓The network travels with the address. Share your address from the app and the message says which coin and network it belongs to.
- ✓No guessing. If a minimum deposit or a confirmation count has not been published, the app says so rather than inventing a figure.
Before you press send
- Open the deposit screen in the app and choose the coin you are sending.
- Read the network named beside the address.
- In the exchange or wallet you are sending from, choose that same network on its withdrawal screen. Some pick one for you by default; change it if it differs.
- Paste the address, then compare its first and last few characters with the app.
- If the network you need is not offered where you are sending from, stop. Do not pick a different one.
Why this page has no network list
Networks get paused and resumed for maintenance or after incidents. A list printed on a website would drift out of date without anyone noticing, and a stale list is how a deposit ends up on a chain nobody is watching. The app is the one place that shows what is being accepted right now.
Questions
Which network should I use to send USDT to LiquidCash?
The one the app names beside your USDT deposit address at the time you send. This site does not list networks, because which ones are open can change.
What happens if I send on the wrong network?
The coins land on a ledger your LiquidCash address was not issued for, and crypto transfers cannot be reversed. The app warns that such a deposit is permanently lost.
When is my deposit credited?
Only after the network confirms it. Until then the app shows it as pending, not in your balance.
